Ashley has worked with EDF’s Oceans program since 2008. She focuses on the biological and ecological aspects of catch share policy and communicating complex management concepts to a general audience through the use of infographics and interactive games. Ashley also helps fishery managers and scientists conduct data-limited stock assessments in Mexico, Belize and Indonesia. Ashley holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.A. in Environmental Studies/Sociology from Whitman College. Much of her free time is spent hiking around Northern California.
